The 22nd edition of the European Film Festival is taking place in Bucharest between May 7 and 13. It will feature over 60 films that cover more than 100 years of cinema. The festival aims to take Europe’s pulse, always intense and difficult to grasp. As it did throughout its history, this geographical space is going through common torments, movements, fears and joys, which are best illustrated by cinema. And it’s not just cinema, but also meetings with filmmakers and actors, concerts, and heated debates.
