This weekend in Bucharest: Night at National Museum of Contemporary Art of Romania

The Museums Night will also be celebrated at the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Romania (MNAC) on May 20 from 6 PM to 2 AM.

The MNAC opens its doors once again for a night dedicated to art and leisure. While the space in front of the museum will be animated with art film projections from the museum archive, there will be five exhibitions on all the floors.

You will also find a durational performance conducted by artists Marina Oprea and Diana Miron. With music and photography as a background, performing art becomes a meeting point for the interests and objectives of the two artists. Miron and Oprea use a reflective ping-pong attitude through means of video, sound art and gestures.
