The Transfagarasan road, between Black Peak (Piscul Negru) and Balea Waterfall (Balea Cascada), remains closed for all categories of motor vehicles, given the weather warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration which announces Orange Code, abundant rainfall code, for several counties, including Sibiu County in which is DN 7C, announced the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR).
“We emphasize that the meteorological phenomena manifested by atmospheric instability and abundant rainfall represent a real danger for the participants in traffic, especially at high altitudes, as in the case of Transfăgărăşan.
