The state issued more than 20,000 building permits in the first half of the year

In the first six months of 2018 were issued 20,520 residential building permits, an increase of 8.5 percent compared to te same period of 2017.

Increases were registered in the following development regions: West (516 permits), South-West Oltenia (402), SudMuntenia (352), Center (128), Bucharest-Ilfov (102), North-West (95) and South-East (86).

Decline was in the North East Development Region (-69 permits).

In June 2018 compared to June 2017 there is an increase in the number of building permits issued for residential buildings of 411 permits, which is reflected in almost all development regions: South-Muntenia (123 permits) Bucharest-Ilfov (109), South-West Oltenia (99), North West (76), SouthEast (65), West (43) and Center (13).

A decline appeared in the same North East Development Region (-117 permits).

Comparing with May 2018, in June 2018 were issued 4,233 permits were issued for the construction of residential buildings, of which 65 percent were for the rural area.

Regional distribution shows a decrease in the number of building permits issued for residential buildings of 202 permits, decreasing in the following development regions: West (-94 permits), NorthEst (-81), North-West (-76) Center (-64).

Increases were registered in the following development regions: South-East (47 permits), Bucharest-Ilfov (33), South-Muntenia (30) and South-West Oltenia (3).
