Competition Council to analyse the transaction between AkzoNobel and Fabryo

The transaction between AkzoNobel and Oresa Ventures for Fabryo paints manufacturer, including two factories and six distribution centers, is being analyzed by the Competition Council.

Fabryo, who produce paints like Savana, APLA and InnenWeiss, has 350 emplyees and reported a turnover of RON 215.6 million and a net profit of RON 15.6 million.

AkzoNobel, a company founded in 1646, based in Amsterdam, had revenues of EUR 9.6 million and an EBITDA of EUR 905 million with 35,700 employees.

In Romania, AkzoNobel Coatings sales reached RON 42.76 million in 2016, while net profit amounted to RON 5.16 million.
