Bucharest has a lot to offer this weekend, and we’ve prepared a guide for the best events that you should check out in the following days.
Street Delivery – Smart Cities? – June 15-17 – Free entry
The question mark in the title of this year’s edition of Street Delivery is not accidental – the event aims to question technology’s ability to make us smarter, wiser, better. Citizens, organizations and companies are invited to propose ways in which our cities can become smarter, livelier and friendlier with their inhabitants.
What is a “smart city”? Is it dominated by technology or is it a place where people use the most recent developments to make life better? Is it a marketing buzzword or an inevitable direction for large urban agglomerations?
Street Delivery 2018 includes a variety of projects, workshops, exhibitions and entertainment events (tech, art, music, theatre, film, architecture, design, etc.) that will all take place on Arthur Verona and Edgar Quinet streets, which will be closed to traffic this weekend.
