Startup Path 2018, the most important event of the autumn dedicated to young entrepreneurs, is preparing for the start. The event, which takes place September 10-11, at Impact Hub in Bucharest, will bring together all entrepreneurial ecosystem actors, from accelerators and hubs to investment funds and angel investors, to banks and organizations that support entrepreneurs through various initiatives.

Startup Path 2018 is a collection of experiences, ideas, success stories, but also failures, inspirational discussions and case studies. There will be two full days, where local and international speakers and entrepreneurs will address themes such as leadership and community, finance and capital gains, and rapid growth strategies that can be successfully applied to product development, marketing and sales, monetizing ideas and applying new business models.

Also, many networking opportunities will not be missed in one-on-one meetings and network-tables with speakers present. Among them are Gordon Starr (Founder & CEO Starr Consulting Group, USA), Kirk A. Sigmon (Intellectual Property Lawyer, Banner & Witcoff Ltd), Emmanuele Musa (Co-Founder Babele), Claudiu Vrincesanu Co-founder VP Connection), Sergiu Neguţ (Co-founder Fintech Os) and Radu Georgescu (Founder-Partner Gecad Ventures).

The event will be opened by E.S. Ambassador of the United States of America to Bucharest, Mr. Hans Klemm.

Startup Path will also take place in Pitch Competition, a challenge for young entrepreneurs whose business proposes solutions to problems that exist in various areas. Of the dozens of companies that applied, the jury of entrepreneurs and business angels selected twelve: XVision, Homepod, Genetx, ProductLead, WeDoo3dRomania, Clark Vision, SupplyBlockchain, 3 PM Digital Masters, Ascendio TechVision, Nifty Learning and Sensix Environment.

The prizes have a total value of USD 80,000, the first prize being a one-month trip to California where the winner will have access to mentors, meetings with entrepreneurs and business angels, and many other tools that will later help him develop his business.

Startup Path 2018 is the first event in a series of initiatives organized by Business Review magazine in line with its new vision. Positioned as the first English-language business magazine in Romania with a 20-year history, Business Review aims to support and contribute actively to the growth and development of a strong entrepreneurial community in Romania and Southeast Europe becoming a real platform that promotes young entrepreneurs and their interests and gives them access to information and opportunities through relevant editorial content, dedicated events and networking.
