SOCAR reaches 34 fuel stations in Romania

Azeri oil company SOCAR has opened its first car fuels station in Romania, taking its national network to 34 units.

The firm has created 10 new jobs following its latest investment.

SOCAR has at this moment fuel stations in 17 counties across the country, including Iasi, Arad and Ilfov. It also has operations in Bucharest.

From 2011 to date, the company has created 500 jobs in Romania and has invested over EUR 64 million in the country.

Globally, SOCAR invests billions of dollars annually in the transport network for oil and gas. The firm is also working on key gas transport projects in Europe.
