Cesar Millan Live – Once Upon a Dog

Mexican-American dog behaviorist Cesar Millan is bringing his canine-based show to Romania. The so-called Dog Whisperer will interact with and wreak his magic on local pooches, in a show the organizers describe as “a remarkable, enlightening and moving experience”. Tickets cost from RON 105 to RON 300.
Spotlight – Bucharest International Light Festival
April 12-15, CEC Palace
This fourth local Spotlight will also celebrate the festival’s centenary, under the slogan, United We Shine. The event has attracted artists from Spain, Italy, Russia, Romania, Germany and China. Themes are solidarity, and connections between people, cities, cultures, ethnicities, facades, art, light and darkness. The event will allow artists from all over the world to express their own visions of unity and team spirit through one of Bucharest’s most impressive buildings: the CEC Palace.
Jazz in Church
April 19-22, Lutheran Church
The sixth Jazz in Church festival will bring to Bucharest artists from ten countries, including: harpist twosome Catrin Finch of Wales and Senegalese Seckou Keita, duo Sylvie Courvoisier (Switzerland) and Mark Feldman (US), and Catalan-born French contrabass player Renaud Garcia-Fons. The festival will also have a Jazz for Kids program, where children can hear their favorite stories performed to jazz rhythms. Tickets cost RON 150 per night.
Edvin Marton – Stradivarius Concert Show
April 20, Sala Palatului
Edvin Marton is an Emmy Award-winning composer and performer with fans on five continents. The show will include violin versions of pop/rock hits Nothing Else Matters (Metallica), Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen), Clocks (Coldplay) and the Classical hit Vivaldi’s Storm, plus more. The event takes place with the support of the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra. Ticket prices run from RON 65 to RON 270.
Gregory Porter

Gregory Porter, the so-called Voice of Jazz, is returning to Bucharest. Porter is a two-time Grammy-winner for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 and 2017. He is described as the voice of his musical generation and a leading figure in today’s music scene, mastering and molding gospel, blues R&B and soul. Tickets start at RON 59.
