A Scandinavian Airlines plane made an emergency landing on Bucharest’s Otopeni Airport today, the second time this happens today, after a KLM aircraft landed earlier.
The Scandinavian Airline plane landed on Otopeni Airport after several patients had respiratory problems.
Upon landing on Otopeni airport, only one person needed medical assistance and was taken by ambulance and transported to the hospital.
This morning, an Airbus A330 operated by KLM that was flying on the Kuweit City – Amsterdam route, made an emergency landing on Henri Coanda.
“Today, 18 July 2017, an Airbus A330 aircraft, belonging to KLM, operating the KLM 446 Kuweit City – Amsterdam flight, requested, at 07.39 the emergency landing on the Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport due to technical problems – increased oil consumption on one of the engines,” the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) said. After the announcement, according to standard procedures, an emergency team was gathered at Henri Coanda airport.
