Secom appoints two new marketing directors

Integrative healthcare solutions provider Secom appointed two new marketing directors, according to a press release by the company. Cristina David will take on the position of trade marketing manager and Razvan Robescu will be Secom’s new marketing and communication director.

Cristina David will head the trade marketing department, recently established within Secom. She will be in charge of developing strategic plans for each commercial distribution channel.

With experience of 8 years in the field, Cristina David joins Secom from Ursus, where she worked for two years as category manager. Earlier in her career, David occupied similar positions within Nestle.

She holds a BA in Economics from the George Baritiu University in Brasov.

Razvan Robescu has an experience of about 10 years in the field, previously occupying strategic positions in companies in the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. Before joining Secom Robescu was senior brand manager at Sanofi. His path also intersected that of multinationals such as The Carlsberg Group (senior brand manager), Friesland Campina (group brand manager), Procter & Gamble (jr. brand manager).

With a grounding in Business Administration & Computer Science at the American University in Bulgaria and Towson University USA, Razvan Robescu has been assistant professor at the American University in Bulgaria, while engaging in the entrepreneurial area.

Secom posted last year a turnover of EUR 12.2 million, a 19 percent rise over the previous year, and hopes to accelerate its rhythm in 2016. The company distributes to a network of some 8,000 pharmacies across the country and its own retail network of 8 stores in Bucharest, Bacau, Brasov, Iasi and Ploiesti.
