Romanian PM Viorica Dancila to run for president

The prime minister Viorica Dancila will be the candidate of the main ruling party, PSD, at the 2019 presidential election in Romania.

Dancila, aged 55, won the support of most PSD leaders and was voted to be the party’s candidate.

Dancila won the support of most PSD leaders and was voted to be the party’s candidate. Her political career is closely related to Liviu Dragnea, the former head of PSD.

Since she was appointed at the head of the government, Dancila took some controversial decisions and was criticized for poor knowledge of terms and proper grammar in Romanian.
