Romanian fintech start-ups can compete for an EUR 5,000 prize if they apply for Elevator Lab Challenge. The competition is organized by Raiffeisen Bank Romania in partnership with TechHub Bucharest.
The prize also includes the opportunity to present their product in Vienna.The program is designed for start-ups that specialise in IT solutions for banks and includes mentoring sessions and workshops where they can learn how to pitch to investors, clients and potential business partners.
The winner of the competition will be included in the semifinals of the Elevator Lab accelerator in Austria and will receive a prize of EUR 5,000. In addition, one of the submissions will be chosen “local hero.”
Start-ups can apply by 20 June. At the end of the program, the best projects will be selected for the Elevator Lab Challenge Demo Night, where they will present the products and business models in front of a jury. The jury includes banks representatives, entrepreneurs and founders of fin tech products. Confirmed members of the jury include Alexandru Negru, founder of Minutizer start-up, Alexandra Anghel, co-founder of Appticles and Robert Knapp, serial entrepreneur and business angel.
