Those who love fast cars and a bit of adrenaline will be delighted by the Romanian Drift Championship, which will take place during June 25-26 at the House of Parliament, in Constitution Square.
60 masters of this extreme sport from all over Europe, including Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria and Poland will be lined up for the second stage of the championship.
Among the pilots in the competiton will be the two-time Romanian champion Calin Ciortan, one of the top drifters in the country. Since his debut at King of Europe drift event, he has never fallen down below top 10 and, together with Nicolae Dobre, he won the King of Europe championship in the team event in 2011.
It is estimated that over 40.000 people will be present at the Drift Championship. The price for a full pass is 40 lei, but it is possible to purchase one-day tickets as well for RON 22 (Saturday access ticket) or RON 33 (Sunday access ticket).
