The official website of the Platform RO2019, the project of the European Expertise Centre (Europuls) together with the Foundation for Civil Society Development, was launched on July 21.
The platform supports the preparation of the EU Council for the Romanian Presidency in the second half of 2019. It aims to attract experts in European Affairs and representatives of civil society, offering in a debate framework, analysis and exchanges of practices regarding the identification of priorities of the presidency so that they have broader support in ownership, as well as assist and monitor the Romanian authorities in the presidency organization process.
The platform will be open for the participation of the public authorities directly involved in the organization of presidency, of the members of Romanian Parliament, Economic and Social Committee and other institutions and authorities from EU.
The project RO2019 ensures three main action lines: the identification and support of Romanian presidency of EU Council priorities in 2019, the creation of capacities for Romania and the general promotion of Romania’s image in Europe.
