RCS&RDS to supply electricity to Ministries of Culture, Defense

RCS&RDS has won a tender for the supply of electricity to the Ministry of Culture and for the Ministry of Defense (MApN), data published last week by the Electronic Public Acquisitions System (SEAP) shows.

After winning a tender for the supply of electricity to The Romanian Television Society (SRTV), RCS&RDS has added two other public institutions to its portfolio of clients. The contract with the Ministry of Culture will bring the company over RON 8.2 million and a RON 8.5 million for the supply of electricity. The criteria for awarding the contracts was the lowest cost.

RCS&RDS will supply the Ministry of Culture with electricity for the upcoming four years. Other companies that participated in the tender are CEZ Vanzare, Elsaco Energy and Industrial Energy. The company will supply the Ministry of Defense with electricity of low or medium voltage between 01.05.2016 – 30.04.2017 towards military units subordinated to the Air Force Staff (SMFA).

One year after entering the electricity market, RCS&RDS has managed to win 100 contracts for electricity supply for public institutions. The list of clients of the company owned by Oradea-based businessman Zoltan Teszari includes the National Bank of Romania (BNR), the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAE).
