RCS-RDS is bidding for a telecom license in Hungary

RCS&RDS, one of the most important telecom operators on the local market, has submitted an offer for a mobile telephony license in Hungary, according to the telecom regulator in this country.

RCS&RDS is bidding against other five companies to obtain the 900 MHz license. These are Telenor Hungary, the post company in Hungary, Vodafone Hungary, Magyar Telekom and Viettel Group from Vietnam.

The applications will be verified and the companies with a valid applications will be announced on January 2.

RCS&RDS is present on markets in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Spain and Italy.

RCS&RDS is controlled by businessman Zoltan Teszari, who has had a very discreet presence in the media.
