Radu si Asociatii | EY Law promotes Radu Diaconu as associate partner and hires Andrei Stefanovici

Radu si Asociatii | EY Law consolidates the team by promoting the lawyer Radu Diaconu as associate partner and expands the activity areas by hiring Andrei Stefanovici, until recently partner of a local law firm.

Diaconu has 11 year experience as lawyer. He began his career in the local office of Linklaters and Allen&Overy, becoming member of Radu si Asociatii | EY Law in 2013. His experience covers both mergers and acquisitions and financing operations. Among its projects is the acquisition of Deutek by the American strategic investor PPG. Diaconu has a bachelor degree in law and one in economy and a PhD in non-banking financial institutions regulation.

Stefanovici has an experience in public acquisitions, energy and natural resources, infrastructure and structuring and implementing projects from European funds. Among its projects are advising some Romanian and foreign companies on big projects of public acquisitions and infrastructure. He graduated the Law Faculty within Bucharest University and has a master degree in international business law from the University from Burgundy, Dijon.

„It’s about two important changes in our team. Radu played an essential role during this time joining us since I took over in 2013 the role of coordinator of the law firm affiliated to EY Romania. At the same time we want to take a step forward and expand our areas by exploring new fields such as public acquisitions or the expansion of some existent areas, such as finances.
