PSD head Liviu Dragnea to attend Trump inauguration

Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and head of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Liviu Dragnea will attend the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States will be held on Friday, 20 January 2017. Later in the day, Romanian PM Sorin Grindeanu told news website News.ro that he “might” attend the event as well.

According to Hotnews.ro, the PSD head will attend the ceremony on 20 January 2017 at the invitation of Elliot Roidy, vice chairman of the Trump Victory Fund and vice chairman of the Presidential Inauguration Committee. “It would be my pleasure to invite you as my guest to the Inauguration of the 45^th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump,” the invitation reads.

The announcement was made by General Secretary of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu.
