Profi ends the week with three new stores

Retail network Profi announced the opening of another three stores this week, in Craiova, Osica de Sus and Comlosu Mare, taking its unit number to 404, according to a press release from the company.

Profi has opened over 20 units since the beginning of the year and aims to reach the level of the previous year, when it opened 92 stores.

The store in Craiova is inside the newly reopened Mercur Center, spanning a total area of 1,289 sqm and a 720 sqm sales area.

The other units open this week have added two new localities to Profi’s network.

The unit in Osica de Sus, Olt county, was open under a Loco format and covers a total area of 464 sqm, with a sales room of 290 sqm.

Another Loco format, the store in Comlosu Mare, Timis county, has a total surface of 576 sqm, of which a sales area of 191 sqm.

The company currently has 404 stores in 193 towns and localities in all counties and in Bucharest, employing over 9,500 people. The network boasts the largest geographical coverage in Romania.
