Prices in the industry up by 3.8 pct in March

Prices in the industry increased by 3.8 percent in March. The biggest increases were recorded in the IT sector. Overall, prices in the industry increased by 3.8 percent year-on-year in March 2018 with biggest increases found in the manufacturing of computers and the chemical industry, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said on Thursday.

In March 2018, compared to March 2017, industrial production prices on domestic and foreign markets increased by 3.8 percent, according to the INS.

Industrial production prices grew most in fields such as computers (+ 6.2 percent), chemical industry (+ 5.7 percent) and metallic clothing (+ 4.3%).

In March 2018, industrial production prices on domestic and foreign markets) increased by 0.2 percent, compared to February 2018.
