Prevenire.gov.ro, portal with information on prevention mechanism, goes live

The portal offering information on prevention mechanism went live, the Ministry for Business Environment announced on Sunday. www.prevenire.gov.ro provides those interested information on the prevention law, which entered force in Romania.

The portal www.prevenire.gov.ro is the instrument gathering all principles of the prevention law, a law that is long-awaited by the business environment, via which we want to change the perception of the relation between entrepreneurs and the state, minister Stefan Radu Oprea said at the launch.

“We are not on at odds. We are partners, and this law is just one step in the process of modernizing the function of control, and collaborative complying. Via the creation and management of this platform the Ministry for the Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship is strengthening its role as a partner of Romanian ad foreign entrepreneurs, by offering them the best solution to develop businesses in Romania,” Oprea said.

The minister announced that both companies, as well as individuals have direct and transparent access to information on the rights and obligations those who are subject to control activities, as well as attributions of authorities that find contraventions and enforce sanctions.

“The portal is ensuring the mechanism for the functioning of prevention, offering at the same time the authorities with control, assessment and sanctioning functions access to the common platform that popularises documentation materials and good practice guides,” the ministry explains in the press statement.

The list of contraventions includes approximately 400 and are regulated via 70 laws. The functioning of a total 11 ministries are influenced by the prevention law.
