Porsche Romania registered an increase year-on-year in sales by 13 percent in first nine months of the year for all the brands of Volkswagen group.
Brent Valmar, general director of Porsche Romania, said: ”We are close to the established objective of delivering 25 percent of the new cars in Romania in 2017. We are glad that we are in top of clients’ preferences.”
The volume brands Volkswagen and Skoda registered the highest sales growth year-on-year up to 19 percent, respectively 11 percent. During January- September, the best sold car models were Skoda Octavia (3.499 units sold), Volkswagen Golf (2.444 units sold) Skoda Rapid (2.293 units sold), Volkswagen Polo (1.885 units sold) and Tiguan (1.742 units sold).
Skoda Octavia continues to lead the sales on this segment, followed by VW Golf and Skoda Rapid.
The Volkswagen Commercial cars division posted an year-on-year growth by 5 percent in the first nine months of the year.
Also the post-sales services performance was higher year-on-year by 10 percent.
