Policolor has announced that it will invest EUR 5.4 million in a new paint factory located on a 2.5 hectare land plot on Timisoara Boulevard in Bucharest.
The new factory will produce paint, primers and varnish.
”We are investing in long term projects and in quality. The new factory comes as a natural step, we shall create a more generous space for development and innovation, there will be new research laboratories that will help us develop our brand portfolio,” said David Jordan, CEO Policolor – Orgachim.
The construction should be finalised in April 2019.
Policolor was created in 1965, privatized in 1997, with the Romanian Investment Fund and the Romanian American Enterprise Fund as the main stakeholders. A year later, Policolor acquired a majority stake in Orgachim JSC, the most important paint and varnish producer from Bulgaria.
Policolor Group owns Orgachim Resins and anhydride Producers Ruse.
