PM Dacian Ciolos said that all Romanians will be able to pay their taxes online as part of a Government push to cut red tape and ease the cooperation between taxpayers and public authorities.
“The announcement regarding the acquisition of banking services for online card payments was launched today on SEAP (the online public procurement platform – e.n), which is an important step towards the reduction of red tape and the simplification of the relation between tax payers and the administration,” wrote the PM on Facebook.
Ciolos added the taxes can be paid by card at ANAF’s offices in nine counties.
“The minister of finance, Anca Dragu, will be present on Thursday in Timisoara to provide updates regarding the expansion of the card payments system in ANAF’s HQs,” said the PM, underlining the fact that this government wants a public administration that is both “modern and friendly” with the people.
The public procurement for card acceptance s+ervices at Ghiseul.ro could be completed in September, according to an estimate by the Ministry of Finance.
