Pegas, the famous Romanian bicycle manufacturer that started in the 70s and was relaunched five years ago, is expanding by opening their fifth mono store today in Shopping City Ramnicu Valcea.

Pegas already has three stores in Bucharest and one in Timisoara, and the Ramnicu Valcea store was the third one to open in 2017, after Shopping City Timisoara and Afi Cotroceni in Bucharest. Pegas is planning to open five more stores nationally in 2018, as well as launching a franchise in Romania and abroad.

The brand invested EUR 40.000 in their new opening. The store in Ramnicu Valcea will have 200 square meters and it will include the entire range of Pegas products, from the classic bicycles to the newest Pegas innovations such as electric bikes and vehicles. In total, there are 28 bicycle models available from Pegas.

Fans of the Pegas are invited to visit the new store throughout the day, which will host a party featuring Romanian musical hits. On the first day, customers will be able to get big discounts and exclusive offers.

In the following 3 years, Pegas is aiming for a tenfold increase of their bike sales volume, to 25.000 per year, and a turnover of EUR 5 million.
