New Dacia cars registrations in France went up by 3.1 percent on annual basis in June to 12,908 units, according to the data published on Monday by the French Cars Producers Committee (CCFA).
The deliveries of Renault group dropped last month by 5.4 percent, while PSA Peugeot Citroen had an increase by 4.9 percent. The Daimler group sales climbed by 23 percent in June, while Toyota had an increase by 9.2 percent and Ford by 6.3 percent.
Overall, the French auto market registered a growth of 1.6 percent in June, registering 277,295 new cars. In the first six months of this year, 1.13 million units were recorded in France, an increase by 3 percent compared with the same period of 2016.
France is the third auto market from EU, followed by Germany and UK, but ahead of Italy and Spain.
The registration of new cars Dacia in France registered a growth by 3.7 percent to 65,165 units in January-June, compared with the same period of 2016.
In the first semester of 2017, the deliveries of French groups Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroen climbed by 1.8 percent, respectively 3.9 percent.
The analysts from Evercore ISI estimate that in 2017 the auto sales from France will drop to 1.88 million units, from close to two million vehicles in 2016.
