Private healthcare services provider Medicover has taken over the network Iowemed in Constanta county, which includes five medical centers.
Medicover said that this deal will support the expansion of its operations in the southeastern Romania.
“We have plans for local development, both for the range of medical services and for the team, and we are thrilled that we can implement them with a recognized and appreciated team like the one of Iowemed,” said Adrian Peake, general director of Medicover Romania.
Iowemed has over 150 doctors and nurses and provides services for 30 medical specialties, including naval medicine.
Medicover operates through a network of 21 centers across Romania and a hospital in Bucharest.
