M&A alert. Luxoft takes over IntroPro

Luxoft Holding, one of the supply of software development and IT solutions to global clients services, has acquired IntroPro, an engineering consultancy firm, specialized in architecture development.

IntroPro has an experience in development, testing and QA, maintenance and services for content development and management, focused especially on TV, media and entertainment industry.

„We are glad to announce the expansion of the Luxoft family by acquiring IntroPro. IntroPro is an important completion to our offer of services in telecom and media segment. In an economy based on consumers preferences, suppliers have to deliver audio-video content at accessible prices, transferable between devices and accessible anytime and anywhere. We believe that through its technological capacity, the engineers team of IntroPro brings a plus value to any supplier of media content that searches to differentiate on a changing market. Once with this acquisition, our services offer is expanding by taking substantial know-how from IntroPro,” said Dmitri Loschinin, president and CEO Luxoft.

Over 90 percent of the IntroPro revenues are generated by telecommunications/mass-media sector, serving several „blue chip” clients with the headquarter in Northern America. IntroPro works together with experimented professionals in its offices from USA and with some specialists from Ukraine.

The complementary services of IntroPro and Luxoft are based on the software development services competitive for the operating decoding devices in cloud and the devices of content delivery.

Within their collaboration, the two companies will use the facilities of Excellence Centers of Luxoft in DevOps, Cloud and Big Data and the IntroPro experience in the management areas of content, subscribers management and big data analytics.
