Lild opens a supermarket with electric car charging station in Resita

Lidl will inaugurate a store in Resita on July 19, 2018, provided with electric car charging station.

The Lidl Drive from Resita has a retail space of approximately 1,300 sqm and around 150 parking spaces.  The inauguration of the Resita one of the 15th new stores programate to open this year by the company.

Close to the end of last year the company finished the remodeling of all the stores, a project started in the summer of 2016.

Lidl, part of the Schwarz Group, headquartered in Neckarsulm, is present in 30 countries around the world and currently operates around 10,500 stores and over 150 logistics centers in 28 countries worldwide.

At present, Lidl employs approximately 260,000 people, out of which over 5,500 in Romania, where the German retailer has opened more than 225 stores and 4 logistics centers.
