German fashion discounter KiK opens its seventh Romanian store in Bistrita

The German fashion discounter KiK opens its seventh Romanian store in Bistrita, easthern Transylvania. Located in the B1 Retail Park, the first KiK store at the Transylvanian Gate stretches over an area of ​​650 sqm and was developed with an investment of over EUR 150,000.

”We want to have an equally dynamic growth on the Romanian market and, above all, to receive the same warmth in every city we come across. The company’s strategy is directed to our customers, so KiK focuses on the quality of its products at an affordable price, ”said Raluca Hartmann, general manager of KiK Romania.

By the end of the year, the German retailer will open its second store in Oradea, a store in Vaslui, one in Ramnicu Valcea and one in Craiova.

KiK is one of Germany’s largest fashion discounters, with an extended network of European stores.

Following the entry on the Romanian market in September, KiK is targeting the nationwide expansion by opening 45 units by the end of 2019.

70 percent of KiK’s product range is represented by the textile segment, German quality clothing for all ages and sizes, complemented by other non-food items, such as gifts, accessories, decorations, toys and stationery.
