Key move. JLL snaps Costin Banica from Colliers in industrial segment push

The real estate consultancy company JLL hires Costin Banica starting with July 2016, as a business developer industrial agency. He will be responsible for new clients identification and growth opportunities of industrial department.

Banica has an experience of over 14 years in sales, out of which 4 in real estate, with a portofolio that in 2015 comprised transactions amounting 35,000 sqm of logistic and industrial spaces. During his career, he was dedicated to management and business development strategies by winning many mandates, the most important being new production or deposit locations for Inteva, Quehenberger or Faurecia.

“We are thrilled that Costin Banica joined our team. Banica is one of the most experienced consultants on the market, having an exceptional background during the four years of real estate. The logistic and industrial sector has been in the last 2-3 years one of the most dynamic from the local real estate and the consolidation of our department by bringing the best professionals from the field is an answer to this evolution and to the numerous requests of our clients,” says Cristina Pop, associate director, head of industrial agency.

“We will still assist to the industrial market and logistic development both from the new offer perspective, and the demand, due to the economic evolution and consume growth. This year a new record surface of new logistic and industrial spaces will be delivered, over 300,000 sqm, more than double of the finished surface in 2015, which reveals the recovery of the developers’ trust in the potential of the local market. Before joining the JLL, Banica worked for Colliers International as associate director of the industrial department.
