Key move. JLL Romania appoints Silviana Badea as Managing Director

Silviana Badea was appointed Managing Director of JLL Romania, a position she will occupy starting 1 March 2017. Badea joined JLL Romania in 2015, as head of Capital Markets.

During this period, Badea contributed to the expansion and evolution of the team, but also of the range of services offered to clients. In the past two years, JLL operations in Romania were conducted by Andrew Peirson, who, in parallel managed the South-East Europe region from the company’s Belgrade office in Serbia.

According to JLL data, the volume of transactions for 2016 in Romania was estimated at EUR 600-700 million, a market where the optimum level for 2017 is estimated at EUR 1 billion.

JLL is one of the biggest real estate consultancy company present on the Romanian market, a sector of activity which includes CBRE, Colliers, DTZ, Echinox, Knight Frank and ESOP Consulting.
