Key move. Evie Filissiadi is the new general manager of Marks&Spencer Romania

Voici la Mode Romania, the company that owns Marks&Spencer Romania, announces the appointment of Evie Filissiadi as the new general manager. She will be responsible for the expansion strategy of the brand on the local market.

The main strategic objectives that Filissiadi will consider are the re-establishment of the brand on the market, the improvement of clients’ experience for shopping and the expansion of products range.

„M&S is one of the most important players on the international retail market and I’m convinced that there will be also in Romania an even faster development in the near future. I am prepared to take the Voici la Mode’ s mission to lead M&S to its real potential in Romania and I am supported by the partners and my team,” said Filissiadi.

Filissiadi was previously financial director of Marks & Spencer Greece and Balkans. With an experience of over 10 years in M&S, she contributed to the business development and the profitability growth. She coordinated known corporate projects within the company.

The agreement between M&S and Voici La Mode Group for the acquisition of the franchise Marks & Spencer Romania entered to force in September.
