Catalin Arama has been appointed CEO of the National Center of Response to Cyber Security Incidents (CERT-RO), according to a release of the institution.
The appointment decree was issued on November 27 by the minister of Communication and Information Society.
Arama has over 15 years of experience in IT industry and held leading positions in public sector, as well as in private sector. He was president of the IT cluster Dunarea de Jos and administrator of Software Park Galati, as well as president of National Center Digital Romania, a position that he has held for 4 years.
He has a bachelor degree in electric engineering within the University Dunarea de Jos Galati.
