IT market in Romania totaled EUR 831mln last year

The IT market in Romania decreased last year by approximately 2.6 percent to EUR 831 million, according to the estimations of consultancy company PRM Research.

 Even though the market downslided in 2010, the outlook for this year is optimistic. PRM Research pundits estimate that this year the market will grow by 5.5 percent, says Mediafax newswire.

 The total figure of foreign investments in Romania amounts to EUR 52.5 billion, of which 5.2 percent have been attracted by the IT&C sector since the 1990 until today.
