Having added an extra 1,500 square meters of exhibition space, the 7th edition of Internet & Mobile World offers more space than ever for digital solutions for the over 9,000 business professionals expected to visit the event between October 3-4 at Bucharest’s Romexpo. Overall, IMWorld 2018 offers over 2700 digital and IT solutions dedicated to the business environment.

Live Data app for a race track

Cegeka brings in the Innovation Area of Internet & Mobile World 2018 the opportunity to see a Live Data application on a race track at work. The basic idea is to use technology in this dynamic environment in order to make real-time measurements of what is happening and provide real-time recommendations and feedback. Visitors interested in this mode of operation will be able to compete with each other, but also with Artificial Intelligence. The technology analyzes several factors, such as machine position, speed or acceleration, and recommends driving solutions for drivers.

In essence, the goal is to show that the chances of winning can increase considerably if real time data is taken into account. Similarly, the same reasoning applies to companies. They must act swiftly and adapt to the new circumstances without waiting for the end of the quarter or annual reports to make decisions.

Training & testing civil and military air traffic controllers

Trencadis comes this year at the Internet & Mobile World with a simulator for training and testing civil and military air traffic controllers. All air traffic controllers are trained on simulators not only to acquire practical knowledge but also to know how to react in unforeseen situations and accidents. Incidentally, initial and periodic certifications that verify stress resistance, response speed, or decision-making capacity are made by simulating complex air traffic situations and emergencies or unusual situations.

The Trencadis booth simulator has the advantage of training the traffic controllers without having to travel to countries where this type of training is practiced, because the connection is done through the cloud to the simulator. Thus, training costs are substantially diminished, and distance learning is becoming more accessible. Created by a Romanian company in Cluj-Napoca, Trencadis’s simulator is addressed to Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP), public aviation and private aviation schools, air traffic controllers, and computer game fans.

First ranking of cities with AI input

SAS brings to IMWorld 2018 an app ranking cities with the help of AI, Paradise Found for Analytics by SAS. “Who is able to find the ideal place on earth, is able to find the perfect solutions for your company,” says SAS, a world leader in analytics solutions, an activation within IMWorld 2018. It is a technology based on Machine Learning, which uses millions of data from different perspectives, from geographic, demographic data to date available in Social Media about cities, which then analyzes them using Artificial Intelligence and offers a top of ideal places.

The Paradise Found project, developed by SAS with Artificial Intelligence, is the first ranking of cities with AI input, indicating what each of us call paradise on Earth. In most cases, the classification of cities, as we know it, is made by publishers, based on short choices, criteria and statistics. SAS has developed a self learning algorithm that collects over 5 million data points from tens of thousands of sources, identifying those unseen ways that make a habitable city.

Later, applying the new criteria to these data, Machine Learning indicates the area with the best living standard in terms of analytics: West Perth, Australia. The discovery of paradise on Earth is in fact a demonstration that SAS can handle any challenge in data analysis. In fact, SAS also launched a Paradise Configurator, so anyone can find their own land paradise.

New suite of business applications in the ERP industry

SoftOne brings to IMWorld technology built around the concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud and Mobility: Soft1 Series 5, the new suite of business applications that launches a new era of innovation in the ERP industry.

Soft1 B.A.M (Business Automation Machine) is a tool designed to define, coordinate and automate the execution of business processes. The application transforms the way employee activities are coordinated and automates collaboration between departments, allowing users to quickly design and implement their own automated processes.

EVA is the acronym that illustrates the concept of Enterprise Virtual Assistant, a virtual agent that offers the ability to automate business processes on any smart device. EVA helps and guides users to prioritize and perform tasks faster and easier than they normally do. For the first time on the Romanian market, employees can use data and information from their ERP system without connecting to them.
