The industrial production prices increased by 3.7 percent in January, both on the internal and the external market, compared with the same month of 2017, according to the data of the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published this Friday.
INS says that the available data for January 2018 are temporary.
According to the source, in January 2018 the industrial production prices overall (internal and external market) increased by 1.1 percent compared with December 2017.
Due to the year-on-year increases, the extractive industry registered a hike by 7.47 percent and the manufacturing industry registered an increase by 4.89 percent, while in the case of water distribution, sanitation, waste management, the production registered a positive trend by 0.62 percent.
On the other hand, in electric and thermic energy distribution and supply and gases, hot water and air conditioning, the industrial production prices dropped in January 2018 by 3.82 percent compared with January 2017.
