Ikea will expand in Romania by 2020-2021

Ikea announced on Wednesday that they’re finally authorized to begin the construction of their second store in Bucharest.

The company previously announced that the second store will be constructed by Bog’Art entrepreneur with and investment of EUR 80 million.

The new shop will be situated on the Theodor Pallady Boulevard and its surface will measure 37.000 square meters becoming the biggest Ikea shop in South-East Europe.

Even from the first shop opened in Romania in 2007, Ikea expressed its interest of extending. The next shops will be opened in Timisoara, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca by 2020-2021, says the retailer.
