HR Manager organizes on October 10 the third edition of HR [PLAY] Tech Marathon, the only “playful” event on the local market, a learning marathon that comes with rules and regulations, challenges and awards fitting an endurance race.

HR [PLAY] Tech Marathon is an unconventional event, which goes beyond the limits of a common conference by engaging the team spirit, competition, social responsibility and game elements: one learns, runs and donates!

This year’s edition brings together a community of HR professionals, leaders and influencers, who will speak about the newest trends in innovation and the future of HR, as well as offer solutions, instruments, and techniques to tackle the field. One special focus is put on ways to adapt to all changes these bring, through a dynamic circuit divided into four distinct content areas, each of them addressing a different issue: “Team Performance”, “Hold on to your talents”, “Embrace and leverage technology” and “Focus on People and Culture”.

As any sports event, HR [PLAY] Tech Marathon includes racers – HR managers who are prepared to finish the race with a wealth of information pertaining to solutions based on best HR practices, as well as “Coaches”, namely HR professionals who will share the latest trends in the field with all participants.

HR [PLAY] Tech Marathon is based on a concept developed by Equatorial, and departs from the gaming psychology by exploring the entire emotional range: both intrinsic emotions, which are specific to any competition, and extrinsic – driven by humanitarian goals. Similar to the previous edition, the extrinsic motivation of the participants will be activated by a social responsibility component. The collective effort (of the participants) more precisely, the “calories” burnt during the marathon, will be transformed into school supplied to later be donated to children looked after by the Save the Children Association.

This year’s “coaches” include:  Crina Ilie, HR VP Europe & Africa, Genpact, Andreea Ciulacu, HR manager Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania, Alexandra Culicovschi, HR director FM Romania, Corina Ghiatau, Organizational Development Manager Orange Romania, Mihai Laurentiu Ganj, Managing Director IH Bucharest, Stelian Bogza, commercial director and co-founder BenefitOnline.ro, Luiza Banyai, manager of the Organizational Development Department Enel, Oana Truca, HR manager Skanska Romania, Felix Toma, Country manager Gi Group Romania and Bulgaria, Luiza Simion, Business Unit manager Wyser Romania – a member of Gi Group, Sorina Butea, Human Resources Umane Amrest Coffee, Madalina Teodorescu, senior director, Human Resources, Avantgarde, Iulia Chapuis, HR Manager Avon Romania & Moldova and Marian Hanganu, Sales director Romanian Software.
