Halep moves to third round of Wimbledon with Zheng win

Simona Halep, the WTA No.1, qualified for the third round for the third time in a row at the All England club, after defeating Saisai Zheng in two sets, 7-5, 6-0.

After what seemed like a tough-to-close first set, Halep breezed through the second set against the world NO 126. She pushed her opponent around the court and never actually gave her a chance to come back into the match.

Halep will play 32 year-old Taiwanese player Su-Wei Hsieh, the world’s No 48 for a spot in the fourth round.
