Globalworth concludes acquisition of Green Court Bucharest from Skanksa

Real estate fund Globalworth, managed by Greek Ioannis Papalekas, has concluded the acquisition of building C within Green Court Bucharest, the office complex developed by Skanska. Following this deal, Globalworth becomes the sole owner of the project, which has a total leasable area of 54,300 square meters.

The buyer paid EUR 38 million for building C, which has a total leasable area of 16,300 sqm, hosting several multinational firms.

Globalworth’s portfolio value in Romania stood at around EUR 983 million as of March 2017.

Meanwhile, Skanska has kicked off the development of another office building in northern Bucharest. The company is also working on a separate office project  in the center-west part of the city.
