GE Healthcare has provided a new equipment with diagnostic imaging capabilities for The Emergency Clinical County Hospital Cluj Napoca as part of a EUR 900,000 contract.
The equipment will offer clinicians detailed information about diseases such as cancer, neurological disorders and heart diseases.
The project, amounting to approximately EUR 900,000, including space planning and 5 years full service warranty, including spare parts, was developed based on the hospital’s funds and the medical equipment will be paid in 48 monthly installments.
Petru Susca, the general manager of the Emergency Clinical County Hospital Cluj Napoca, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer to our medical team and to their patients’ access to state of the art imagistic technologies. The medical technologies will help the hospital offer high quality medical services to more patients from Cluj County. RM unit acquisition completes the investment and modernization policy which we have implemented over the last three years. Beyond all our efforts, it still remains a problem the limited and insufficient funds offered by the National Health Insurance House, for the disbursement of imagistic investigations.”
