The French Chamber of Commerce CCIFER appointed a new board of directors during its 28 March general meeting, when it also launched the 2017 activity report and announced projects for the current year.

Currently French Chamber of Commerce has 500 members, with an overall turnover of EUR 18 billion and 125,000 employees.

Adela Jansen (BRD – Groupe Société Générale) and Christian Derveloy (Arta Grafica), have been reappointed for a three year mandate. Serge Gonvers (Mazars), Stéphane Roy De Lachaise (Michelin), Yves Martin (Orange SA),  have been appointed for their first mandate.

« Benefiting from a new perspective, the board of directors will continue to support the three strategic axis of the Chamber: the dialogue with public authorities, the members’ commitment, the services for entrepreneurs, the development of the business center and the education. We’ll continue to develop the dialogue with the public authorities through the 11 work groups and our presence in the 13 task forces of the Coalition for Romanian development,” said Francois Coste, president of CCIFER and CEO Groupama.

CCIFER has three main missions, namely to stimulate the member community to allow them to identify business opportunities, propose services and commercial development and ultimately that of representing the voice of French-Romanian companies in the dialogue with institutional partners.
