Fondul Proprietatea got close to RON 400 million from selling a 2.5 percent stake in Austrian oil major OMV Petrom.
“As the shares price was established at RON 0.2750/share, the gross revenues from the transaction reach RON 399.85 million. Petrom won’t receive any amount from the transaction. Under the offset reserve of the transaction, the remaining share of the fund in Petrom is 9.9985 percent of its social capital,” says the announcement submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Fondul Proprietatea sold 1.454 billion shares in an accelerated private investment offer.
Goldman Sachs International, WOOD & Company Financial Services and Banca Comerciala Romana were the joint bookrunners of the transaction.
