FM Logistics puts EUR 5 million in Romania warehouse expansion

The Romanian subsidiary of French group FM Logistics, which provides transport and warehousing services, has expanded its warehouse platform in Petresti following a EUR 5 million investment.

The company has increased its platform by 10,000 sqm to 30,000 sqm in total, according to wall-street.ro.

The warehousing facility is located near the A1 motorway (Bucharest-Pitesti) and can be expanded to a maximum surface of 125,000 sqm.

From Petresti, FM Logistics works from clients in the retail and FMCG sectors.

The company has three platforms in Romania, in the Timis, Bucharest and Dambovita regions and two cross-docking terminals in Cluj and Bacau.

FM Logistics reported a turnover of EUR 24 million in the latest fiscal year (April 2015 – March 2016). The company has 700 employees and warehouses worth 100,000 sqm.
