The newest E-boda tablet, Impresspeed IPS Supreme X100, with a 16 GB capacity, which runs on Android 4.0, is estimated to sell 3,000 units.
By yearend, E-Boda forecasts it will sell 10,000 tablets from all models. Tablet sales will represent 20 percent of the company’s turnover.
The market is seeing an accelerated growth: only in March, 8,000 tablets were sold. This has prompted E-Boda to make plans to launch 3 other tablets by the end of the year.
“This year, the priority of E-Boda is to develop the range of tablets. Today we have launched the flagship model Impresspeed, a premium product, the Romanian tablet with the best value/price ratio from our point of view,” according to Alexandru Dragoiu, founder of E-Boda.
For now, the tablet is available on the website of the company, and will go into the outlets of retailers Altex, Domo, Flanco and on the online store eMAG at a recommended price of RON 999.
