DIY retailer OBI has opened its second store in Bucharest and the seventh in Romania in the third district of Bucharest, on Theodor Pallady street. With a total surface of 10,000 sqm, OBI Pallady will have over DYI 26,000 items on sale covering construction materials, interior decoration items, gardening products and home refurbishment and maintenance products. The new store has 1,100 parking places (including underground parking) out of which 250 are dedicated. Countrywide, OBI is present in Arad, Oradea, Bucharest, Pitesti, Ploiesti and Sibiu. Throughout this year OBI has invested EUR 20 million in opening new stores and plans to keep the same level of investments for the next year.
