Deloitte Romania appoints Monica Guminski and Alexandru Aparaschivei as directors

Deloitte Romania appointed Monica Guminski and Alexandru Aparaschivei to director roles. Monica Guminski, formerly Senior Manager Audit and Assurance, has been promoted to Audit Director, and Alexandru Aparaschivei, formerly Senior Manager Tax, is now Tax Director.

Monica Guminski has been a member of Deloitte Romania team since 2004 and is experienced in auditing and advisory services. She has a strong track record in auditing financial statements in accordance with the Romanian Accounting Standards and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and is also experienced in providing accounting advice on different complex accounting areas and trainings on impactful accounting new standards. Monica is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors. She has worked with both multinational companies and local clients, privately and state owned, from various industries such as transportation, real estate and construction, FMCG, steel production, tobacco.

Alexandru Aparaschivei is a tax advisor with 12 years of experience. His work covers advisory, tax audit and litigation support, M&A, compliance and reviews, as well as tailored trainings. While focusing on VAT, his area of expertise also covers corporate and international tax, specific petroleum taxation and customs and excise duties. He has worked with clients from all industries and currently serves mainly energy and resources and financial services companies. Alexandru is member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants and a part of Deloitte Romania team since 2013.
