Dacia vehicles sales recorded a growth of 23.8 percent in Europe, and the company’s market share also increased from 2.3 percent to 2.4 percent, according to European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).
New ACEA statistics were published on Tuesday and according to them the number of Dacia cars in Europe stood at 35,648, up compared to September 2016, when the number was 33,824.
In the first nine months of the year Dacia vehicles deliveries increased by 29.5 percent in Europe and the market share recorded a growth of 3 percent compared to the previous 2.8 percent. The cars registrations in Europe reached 256.697 units.
The Romanian company was taken over by Renault in 1999 and was relaunched in 2004 with the Logan Model, becoming an important player on the European auto market.
